The K Road Cliffs are definitely a hidden secret!
The gorgeous limestone cliffs tower above the Werribee River and change colour throughout the day as the sun moves through the sky. The current of the Werribee River carved through the cliffs over hundreds of thousands of years on its way to Port Phillip Bay via the river mouth at Werribee South.
The river itself offers fishing, kayaking, bird watching and a wide variety of flora and fauna activity for the nature-lover.
You may wish to stop for a break and bite to eat at one of the picnic tables on the roadside reserve overlooking the cliffs or for the best view why not book in for dinner at ‘The Views’. The Views is the restaurant located at the Werribee South Golf Course which not only offers excellent food, it also enjoys the best views of the K Road Cliffs, the Werribee River and the lush manicured grounds of the golf course.
