Naturally beautiful, Bribie Island is the only Morton Bay Island reached by bridge.
This tour includes a scenic boat tour of Pumicestone Passage and a 4x4 tour of the beach. In the passage you can see Dugong or Dolphins during or boat tour.On our 4x4 beach trip in the season we have turtles nesting on the beach and whales breaching in the sea.The ecologically important Pumicestone Passage, formed by the channel which runs between Bribie Island and the Caboolture coastline, is protected marine park and a safe haven for dugongs, turtles, dolphins and a diverse birdlife and extensive network of mangrove swamps.  There is also a fantastic surf beach which we will drive up.

Your tour starts in Brisbane at 7.45am.

This tour will include a scenic boat tour of the Pumicestone Passage were we will look for the elusive Dugong or the majestic Dolphins. while we cruse the passage we will enjoy the beautiful backdrop of the Glass House Mountins.

We will also drive the beach in the 4x4 watching out for wales or turtles nesting on the beach in season. Our aim is to reach the northern tip of Bribie Island stopping on the way to walk through coastal plant communities featuring casuarinas, melaleucas and some rainforest species to heritage-listed remains of gun emplacements and searchlight buildings. Wayside signs provide information about the forts and the men and women who served here during World War II.  There will be plenty of time to  find a nice spot on the beach for lunch and a cooling swim. 

You will arrive back to Brisbane before 500pm.
