If you would like to learn to play golf, Keilor Public Golf Course is a great place to start. Club and cart hire is available, so you can give it a try without a lot of outlay on buying clubs and gear of your own. You can choose to play 9 or 18 holes, and you don’t have to be a member, but it is a good idea to book ahead. There is also a driving range, where you can get buckets of balls and practice your swing before you go out onto the course itself. This is a great way to get a bit of confidence before you venture out, but if you find that you would like to upskill a bit quicker, golf lessons are also available with the courses resident golf professional. The course is very easy to get to via the King’s Road exit off the Calder Freeway.
