Everyone when we arrive in Australia we want to see kangaroos and koalas. Everybody. And I must say that animals in zoos are very well cared for in this country; but, although the facilities are quite good, why see animals in cages, if you can see them wildly? Lose yourself in the national parks, do not make noise, and watch for signs to know where the animals are going. But if you still can not see wild Koalas (Kangaroos you'll see everywhere!), Head over to Daisy Hill Koala Center, an hour and a half by bus, south of Brisbane. It is a conservation center for sick Koalas, injured, or that for some reason can not be returned to nature, but they do not have them in small cages, although you can see them quite close. I recommend it 100% and it's totally free.
