There are a few different boardwalks all across Stradbroke Island, but this boardwalk is definitely a favourite. You can start at Cylinder beach, North Stradbroke, where you have the option to walk up rocks or stairs. The walk shows amazing views, and I have even seen dolphins/whales/kangaroos occasionally. Bring your swimmers and towel because across the walk there are many little beaches that you can stop at.
This best point for a view is definitely the start at Cylinder, which is where the photos above have been taken. I definitely recommend coming here at sunset with a few beers and some fish and chips from the local store up the road. The view is amazing and the boardwalk has many picnic tables.
This walk is not a hard walk and can be enjoyed by many, please note though that this walk has many stairs and has no ramps for people in wheelchairs.
