Mackenzie Falls has to be one of the prettiest waterfalls I have visited. It's located in the Grampians, about a 3 hour road trip from Melbourne.
It is a bit of a trek to get to the falls once you have arrived at the Grampians so make sure you have comfy shoes and plenty of water especially during the summer months and stop to rest when you need it.
If you are visiting on a hot day, the water at the bottom of the falls will look very inviting! Only swim here if you are an experienced swimmer as the water does become very deep and the rocks are very slippery.
Pack a picnic lunch and find a nice spot by the falls to eat then simply laze about and let the sound of the falls soothe your soul!
