Splash around, ride the waves on a bodyboard or a tube or simply soak up some sun on one of the many poolside lounges.
The wave lagoon is fun for all ages and right in the heart of the City. There are two wave cycles per hour lasting for 20mins or so. If you have younger children there is also a paddling pool with sun sails providing much needed shade.
The use of the bodyboards and tubes are included in your pass but you are also allowed to bring in your own floatation devices at the discretion of the pool lifeguards.
Remember to be sun safe and cover up, wear sunblock and a hat during the day as there is no shade over the wave pool and the reflection from the water can also burn your face.
If you are a family and plan to visit the wave lagoon more than two times I would encourage you to purchase a family pass. It is excellent value. Also, parking can be expensive in the city but the hotel underground carpark is free for the first two hours and is nice and close to the lagoon.
