Mettams pool is a little hidden gem in the North of Perth’s beaches! Having been n Perth for ten years I only heard about this recently and now I am desperate to get back down to Mettam's pool as much as possible.

Mettam's pool is one of the tiniest beaches you will possibly see and in the peak of summer expect to be absolutely crammed on – but it is worth it! A hot tip would be to take a shady brolly or cover to put up (many people do).

The water at mettam's is very shallow and is great for kids and also for snorkelling. The fish come into the shallows (there is a heap of reef out the back) and some of the fish are massive! If you snorkel out onto the reef be very careful as there are rips and it is not a beach with a lifeguard.

There are toilets / change rooms on this beach. Well worth a look and a hit with younger children.
