Take the little climb around Mount Emu which is situated in the Coolum Beach part of Noosa National Park. Pick a clear day with cooler air as the walk in direct sun can get a little hot. Its an easy walk no more than 30 minutes to the summit and back and more so a walk than a climb. The entrance is situated on Havana Road where you will park at the High School, you can enter from the North or South walking track entrance, with the south connecting to further walking tracks along the back of Coolum Beach. After recent devastating bush fires the greenery is absolutely flourishing and well worth the walk. At the top you can see as far as Old Woman Island through to the Noosa Headland.
