There are so many places around Sydney you cant take your best friend to, or if you don’t have a dog you can still find plenty of play mates.
A must see spot is Rose Bay Beach, an off leash dog beach – it is a pooches paradise. If you go along on a nice day over the weekend you will find more than a dozen dogs running around having the time of their life, swimming, chasing waves, fetching balls.. If your dog is not so well socialised he/she might enjoy a walk at sunset on a week night when it is pretty quite and secluded.
Another great spot is Rushcutters Bay Park, an off leash dog friendly park with view of the harbour (note between the hours of 3:30pm – 10pm). If you head down there on a Sunday at dusk you will discover 20 or more pooches having a play.
And don’t worry about what to do with your dog while you refresh between all the play time – many neighbouring cafes and pubs are dog friendly.
