Relatively unknown to tourists, there is something here for everyone!
Bushwalking, Native Flora & Fauna, Historical sites, Art, a fabulous café/restaurant and the most spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and skyline you will ever see.

Once you get there, drop in to the Visitor Centre for a friendly and informative chat with the Volunteer staff and if you have time, book one of the free, organised Nature Walks & History Tours (see the website for details).

Fairfax Walk is the shortest and easiest track at North Head but it is by no means the lesser as the 1km loop connects three scenic lookouts and offers the best vantage points for spotting Whales in their migration season (June-July/August-October). The track is partially paved for wheelchair access too.

Whatever you choose to do at North Head, be it just taking in the incredible views and snapping a few pictures or whether you spend a full day hiking all the tracks and discovering hidden beaches, you won't be disappointed!
