There's a little island off the coast of Tasmania and it's just a short drive out of Hobart. Connected by a ferry, Bruny has many things on offer: berries a plenty, secluded beaches, some pretty glorious wildlife and cheese. Now wildlife and berries are all well and good, but the cheese is where it's at. Made with the milk of local cows, Bruny Island cheese is world famous and boasts a raw blend of cheddar that is pretty dang amazing. I'd suggest grabbing a coffee, a book, a friend or two and slowly eating your way into a belly ache and/or food coma. One of those good belly aches, you know. Satisfying. And totally worth it.
