The RAAF Museum at the Point Cook RAAF Williams Air Base is a great experience for the whole family. The Point Cook RAAF Base is the birthplace of the Royal Australian Air Force and is steeped in history.
Old hangars are filled with memorabilia from a variety of battles including both world wars, Vietnam, East Timor and recent conflicts in the Middle East. The permanent exhibition includes classic planes such the Tiger Moth and the Box Kite and more powerful aircraft such as F4E Phantom fighter jet as well as communication equipment, weapons and artillery, uniforms and personal items of current and former Air Force Personnel.
The RAAF Museum also offers flight displays on certain days of the week.
ID is required to enter the base and the RAAF Museum is closed on Mondays
