The easiest way in and out of Surfers Paradise has to be public transport. Continuous buses are used but the newer tram system runs every 6 minutes and is the easiest way to get around. Once you've headed into the main street, Cavil Avenue, you can follow the signs to the Aquaduck desk and buy yourself a ticket. This gives you a quick tour around the area itself before driving into the water and doing a tour along the water with knowledge of the area and houses. A nice activity to do with the family and a weirdly exciting experience - who else can drive into water and stay afloat? The very large bus-boat-vehicle is a nice way to view the area and water all at once.
