While many people take the Skyline Gondola to the top of Queenstown’s Bob’s Peak, the Tiki Trail is a great alternative for visitors wanting to take in the sights from ground level.

The beginning of Tiki trail is easily found at the base of the gondola, with signs leading along the way up the mountain. There’s Coronet Peak in the North and Mountain range in the east, both of which are ski resorts in the winter.

Zig-zagging through pine forests, the trail features some incredible vantage points where you can take in vistas of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables and Queenstown.
