Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands in Werribee is a great open space to go for a walk, take the dogs for a run, or get the kids out of the house.

The footpath stretches right around the park and is mostly flat. The park is wheelchair accessible and disabled friendly with flat footpaths all the way around as well as a couple of outdoor gym equipment stations.

You can enter the wetlands from multiple points including Rosella Avenue, Derrimut road (next to the fire station and across from AquaPulse) and Heaths road (not far from Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre).

There's a footbridge in the centre of the park with a small lake which is a popular place to see the ducks and other bird life.

It's a great place to take the kids to ride their bikes and scooters, especially with the BMX track on the Derrimut Road side. There are a couple of gas BBQs but they aren't always very clean so bring stuff to clean it or pack a sandwich instead! Make sure to put your dog on a lead around other people and wildlife.
Overall Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands is an easy place to get outdoors, let the kids and dogs run around and keep up with your fitness.
