London Court is an architecturally beautiful open-air shopping strip in the middle of Perth CBD. The Elizabethan facade really stands out from the modern buildings surrounding it, and its a great photo opportunity and a beloved heritage site. Built in 1937, the Court is designed to look like a piece of London of yore in the middle of Western Australia, and many of the shops inside the court sell antiques that will also remind you of the strong influence of British culture on Perth's development. You'll really feel like you've left Australia and stepped into Britain, and people have commented that it's vaguely reminiscent of how you'd imagine Harry Potter's Diagon Alley would look (no wand store though, sorry!)
This Perth icon is definitely worth a look for tourists and locals alike.
