Wow, what a find this one was. Right in the middle of the Australian National Botanic Gardens you’ll find an incredible red centre garden home to mini sand dunes, red rock escarpments and a hole heap of valuable information that will make you feel like you’re right in the heart of Australia. The garden is simply magnificent and it showcases the iconic red centre of Australia and will really make you appreciate Australia’s landscape and unique red desert. The garden is also home to some amazing indigenous artwork and one in particular was created by famous Aboriginal artists Teresa Pula McKeeman. You won’t find anything else like it in Canberra and the garden sure is a nice surprise to find when you’re strolling through the luscious green landscape of the Australia National Botanic Gardens.
