This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the historical rocks. The building is a heritage listed and 180 years old! It was founded by an Irish family and as well as a tea room, the building itself is set up for people to look round and has lots of antiques and interesting things to look at in each room! It has a gorgeous little courtyard out the back that's lovely to sit out in the sunshine and they have hand knitted stuffed toys and different unusual things around the building. Its really quaint and you feel like you're in someones home having a cup of tea, it has a real traditional vibe. The scones are all made on site from traditional recipes and they do traditional scones as well as a monthly special... they also make their own homemade preserves in all different flavours and although they have a bit of variety on the menu the 'Devonshire Cream tea' is what to go there for! You get 2 scones of your choice, as well as choosing which preserve to go with them and of course clotted cream! And it comes with any hot drink of your choice. They have all the teas you can imagine or if you are more a coffee person you can choose to have coffee with it instead. It's only $14 and comes in an adorable little wicker basket and individual tea pot with a hand knitted tea cosy! Because it is a family run business the staff are so friendly and helpful and the scones are so delicious and really filling! If you happen to go there on a weekend you will get to experience the rocks markets that are on right outside on a Saturday and Sunday :-)
