The Great River Walk is a free walk from the Victoria Bridge in Penrith to the Penrith Valley Bridge (M4 Motorway Bridge heading to the mountains) which is around 8 Kilometres round trip, maps are also available online. This walk has a number of highlights on the way including the Nepean River Park and Picnic area, the various lookout points on the bridges and across the riverside paths and there is also a convenient Coffee Club to have a rewarding dinner with running or walking partners. Easy parking at the Nepean River Park and definitely an active track for runners and walkers alike so feel at easy that you won't be the only ones on these paths. Keep in mind there are unsealed paths closer to the river banks so strollers may not be suitable in some of these areas.
