Sydney is going absolutely wild for Pokemon Go! There are a few tips & tricks on how and where to find not only the biggest concentrations of Pokemon, but also some of the rare Pokemon to fill out your collection!

If you’re just starting out, the best places to check out are large urban parks like Centennial or Moore Park in the Eastern Suburbs, Hyde Park or Mrs Macquarie’s Chair in Sydney’s CBD, or Central Park near Sydney’s Central Station. As these are grassy areas, you’re most likely going to find grass type Pokemon (and some Air Type). If you’re looking for water type, then the Harbour City is going to deliver! King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, or The Fish Markets in Pyrmont have had plenty of sightings too.

Sydney’s CBD has a Pokestop approximately every 200 metres, which means you can almost almost load up on pokeballs & other items from any location. Keep an eye on two or more nearby poke stops that have had lures dropped - these are the zones where you’re going to find the most pokemon running about. A good trick, is to jump on a slow bus or tram - you should cover enough ground at a low enough speed to efficiently grab a lot of Pokemon!.
