One of my favourite things is beer. I just couldn't make a post entitled beer though, or I'd have everyone on this site making a pilgrimage to my house, trying to sneak a bottle out of my fridge. Instead, I'll tell you about one of the best breweries that I have ever visited - Thirsty Crow, in Wagga Wagga NSW. This microbrew has it all, amazing beer, friendly staff and really good food. The menu varies, the last time I was there, they had some amazing little sliders, hot dogs and BBQ sauce. Treat yourself to a sample plate of what's on tap, and hear from the Brewers themselves. They run Brewery tours for all the inside information that you need – and for $15 includes a sample platter of beer. Check the local calendar for events, recently they ran a Beer and BBQ festival. The Thirsty Crow is a great place to wind down in Wagga, after a weekend of exploring the wine country and getting your fill of chocolate in Junee. It's also kid-friendly, so the little ones can enjoy a burger too.
