Whether you are a beer lover or not, you’d appreciate the history of the brewery site and all the work that goes behind making the famous Tasmanian beer. Reckon you know how to pull a beer? Every day 2pm at their bar, they hold a beer pulling competition and you get to keep the beer you pull for each round you enter! The winner gets a certificate, of course. It’s fun, engaging, and definitely gives you a new perspective on being a bar tender. So make sure you are at the restaurant if you want to be part of the action! The daily brewery tour also gives visitors great insight on the history of the Cascade Brewery and how the Cascade beers were made. You get 4 or 5 tastings included as part of your tour ticket and also 10% off merchandise and food. Or if you only want to do the tasting, it’s $12 for 4 alcoholic beverages as a tasting paddle. Booking is recommended for the brewery tour.
