This has to be the most beautiful place to swim laps in Sydney. As you swim look up to see the Harbour Bridge. It costs $7 to enter but it is worth it. The pool has a fantastic retro pool but up to date facilities.
It has a baby pool, a shallow pool and an Olympic sized pool. This has a recreation area roped off as well as many different lanes for the different levels of swimmers. Ripples cafe is attached to the pool and serves fantastic coffee. It is also a lovely restaurant to go to afterwards. One of the best things to do is get settled in one of the little alcoves for the day. From one of these you can see Luna Park, The Harbour Bridge and the Harbour. The people watching is fantastic.
Once you have finished your laps there are terrific places to go and grab a bit to eat in Kirribilli. Bangkok Sidewalk is a favourite and you can’t beat the pizza at Kirribilli Woodfire Kitchen.
