One of those awesome bars that you'd never ever stumble across, Hotel Sweeney's sits almost in a time capsule among the Sydney CBD's tall office buildings. On entering the old-school multi-story pub, take a minute to stretch up before embarking on what seems like 10 separate staircases to the top - but once you're there, you'll find the small open-air rooftop bar - there isn't a great amount of beer on offer, but what they do have is cheap, plus wine & basic cocktails. The weekday crowd is mostly after-workers enjoying the remaining sunshine, but on the weekends the bridge & tunnel crew turn the place into something completely different.

My advice is to stick to weekdays :)
