From the 1830s to 1984 migrant ships arriving in Sydney with suspected contagious disease anchored inside North Head and off-loaded passengers and crew into quarantine to protect local residents from the threat of infection. There are a number of ghost tours which you can go on and if you are lucky enough meet a spirit or two along the way. A great thing to do if you are looking for something different to do and to learn about the history of the area.
