Treat your partner to a close and personal wildlife encounter at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary - the world's first and largest Koala sanctuary!
Have your photo taken with one the sanctuary's cuddly Koalas. Join one of the wildlife presentations; see the Birds of Prey or the Sheepdog Show and experience the feeding encounter with the Tasmanian Devils.
Make a romantic day of it and pack a blanket and picnic lunch, enjoying the peaceful surrounds of the sanctuary's natural bushland and riverside location. Food and drinks can be purchased at the Café.
Before you head home, feed the free-roaming Kangaroos, Wallabies and Emus.
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is open 7 days from 9am to 5pm. The entry fee for Adults is $36 per person but if you book online, they offer a 10% discount. Photo Packages and special tours including a Behind the Scenes package are also available.
If driving, there is plenty of free parking or there are regular buses to/from Lone Pine operated by Brisbane City Council Translink, departing the City daily.
