Fairlight Beach and Fairlight Tidal Pool are a spectacular 15 minute walk from Manly Wharf.

When you get off the Manly Ferry, turn left and walk on the path along the small enclosed Manly Cove Beach to your left.

Stay on the path and walk past Manly Sea Life Sanctuary and turn right at the end to walk up the steps. At the top of the steps you’ll see sculptures of the Fathers of Federation in Australia: Edmond Barton and Henry Parkes.

Stay on the path to your left and walk about 200 metres, the first beach is Delwood – keep walking, the path will take you straight for about 100 metres and then right. You’ll see Fairlight pool and Fairlight Beach.

This is a beautiful spot to relax and look out to Sydney Harbour, watching the Manly Ferry sail in and out. The pool is cleaned regularly and you can go for a snorkel or scuba dive out from the beach.
