This hike isn't easy, but the view and experience is worth it!
The hike starts at Waterfall Gully, and it is approximately 8km up and back trip. The pathway is interesting & not all up hill, but does have some really steep sections. (the last section to the top is a killer!)
There is also multiple benches to stop and take a rest and enjoy the breathtaking outlook over Adelaide on your way up.
Obviously the best views are from the top of the mountain, and there is a cafe / restaurant at the top if you want to extend your stay and enjoy the view a little longer.
If you don't want to hike, you can always just drive straight up to the summit!
Parking at the bottom is free, parking up the top is approx. $3
It is busy on weekends, so parking can be a little difficult. If you cant get a park, try doing the hike in reverse, and parking up the top at the summit.
