The opportunity to learn from our experts the uses of the spices in the various foods and their benefits. We start our story with the arrival of the Indian community in Australia and how their aromatic spices were stirred into Modern Australian cuisine. Continuing to the subtly spiced rice based cuisine of South India; guests will travel through the cuisines of India in all their variety and diversity down to the rich Punjabi food spiced with garam masala of the north and conclude with an offering of Indian deserts like you've never experienced before.

Things to keep in mind:
This is a walking tour; however it is not fast paced and is comfortable for most people. The walk from the various venues is about 30-40 minutes in total with breaks at each vendor; however we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes.
