If you are keen to immerse yourself in a virtually untouched swimming hole located amongst waterfalls and the towering rainforest trees then this is a place to add to your bucket list!

Crystal cascades is highly popular with locals and tourists alike.

There are several different waterholes within easy walking distance from the car park, with the largest being situated next to a sheer cliff. The highest perch to jump from on the cliff is called "No Fear", which sings true because you literally need to have no fear of you intend to jump from it into the icy, deep waterhole below.

Alternatively it cliff jumping isn't your thing, there are plenty of nice shallow areas to bask in the cool waters, or if you are interested in seeing some of the rainforest there is a concreted track which meanders along the edge of the creek ( there is a barrier/fence in place for safety reasons).

This water is icy cold all year round as it travels from high in the Atherton Tablelands.
