About 40 minutes drive out of central London is the Enfield shooting range where you can try your hand with a shotgun shooting at clay targets as they're shot out in front of you.

The farm it's on is a bit of a way off the beaten track and has parking so it's best to drive there.

The deal of the day was 33 quid for one box of shells or 48 for two boxes each. There are 5 or so different ranges of varying difficulty and there's no experience necessary.

The shotguns had a little bit of recoil, enough that it feels like you're shooting a real gun and there's a rush of adrenaline and sense of satisfaction when you hit the little buggers.

Great fun with the boys and not too far out of the way so check it out.
