Thunderbird Park is jam packed with activities for all ages. Located on Tamborine Mountain, QLD, the park is watched over by a giant orange Pterodactyl. This is an awesome photo opportunity in itself.

There is mini golf, horse riding, laser skirmish, a tree top adventure park, bird feeding, and thunder egg mining. The thunder egg mine is a truly unique experience, and whilst slightly more expensive than your average weekend activity, it is educational and you get to take home some awesome rocks that your kids will be proud to show their class back at school.

There are also camping facilities on site with two different companies. The drive up the mountain is pretty slow and winding, so take care on the corners. Thunderbird Park is only a short drive away from the popular tourist area of Gallery Walk on the mountain top, so if you camp at Thunderbird Park, you can double your bang for your buck by taking in the sites up the mountain, too.

Food and drinks are available at the park kiosk.
