City Botanic Gardens had been a beautiful gift that this city gave to me when I arrived for the first time.
It was the second day I was here in Brisbane. Some months ago, I saw on Internet that great bridge really similar to that I saw in New York (USA) and the river, so having a lot of spare time, why don't visit it?
That's very closer to the centre, a perfect place where doing sports activities in the morning, having a picnic or chilling in the afternoon, especially in summertime, like we are. About me, I started walking from Fortitude Valley (where I live) and in 30 mins by foot I was in the Park. After a quick snack sitting in front of the river, I immediately started taking pictures with my phone and every corner seems great, like a fable. Different animals lives in the park, such tropical birds, opossums, iguanas, turkeys, ducks... and several banners talks about the history of each tree/corner or statue. If you walked until the bridge that connect to South Bank, you can find two big trees with a blue fox banner positioned on a branch of one of them. In the nighttime you can admire both trees floodlit . I never get bored when I'm there!
