Start the tour with a drive over the Tasman bridge, then along the stunning Derwent river with views of Mount Wellington. Once at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary you will spend (at minimum) 1 hour hand feeding eastern grey kangaroos, taking photos or getting close-up to the wombat. After the feeding, you can walk at your leisure around Bonorong for more close encounters with emus, koalas, echidna, and yellow tailed black cockatoos.

Get dropped off at the Hobart waterfront where you get 1 hour to relax and have some lunch.

The afternoon portion of the tour commences at 2pm at the Hobart Travel and Information Centre.

Embark on a stunning 30-minute drive from Hobart, winding your way up the mountain to the summit of Mt Wellington. From the summit, enjoy a short pinnacle walk to the overhanging lookout where spectacular views of Hobart and the surrounding mountains are obtained.

Learn about Hobart, Tasmania and the mountains, in geologic, environmental and cultural terms. Hear stories of bush rangers and Peter Degraves (founder of Cascade brewery). Stretch your legs and explore the 'Springs" the site of the former springs hotel under the famous Organ Pipes (30-minutes). Finish with a visit to Australia's oldest brewery, Cascade.
